GeoCites is operated by DjinnFoundry SL, based in Cofrentes, Spain. This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, and how you can contact us.
Contact us at contact@geo-cites.com .
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run GeoCites:
- Account details, such as your email address and workspace membership.
- Scan inputs, such as domains, keywords, locations, model choices, and settings.
- Scan outputs, reports, citations, scores, history, projects, schedules, and exports.
- Billing records, credit balances, purchase history, and payment status.
- Technical logs, such as IP address, device data, timestamps, API requests, errors, and security events.
- Support messages you send to us.
OpenRouter keys and AI providers
If you bring your own OpenRouter key, the browser keeps it in session storage so you can run the scan. We do not save it in your results.
To run scans and audits, we may send your scan inputs to AI model providers or API gateways, including OpenRouter and model providers available through it. Paid managed scans may use DjinnFoundry-managed provider keys.
Why we use data
We use data to:
- provide scans, audits, reports, projects, schedules, and APIs;
- keep accounts, workspaces, billing, credits, and receipts working;
- secure the service, prevent abuse, and debug incidents;
- answer support requests;
- measure product usage and reliability;
- meet tax, accounting, security, and legal obligations.
Legal bases
We process data when it is needed to provide the service, when we have a legitimate interest in running and improving GeoCites, when we must meet a legal obligation, or when you have given consent.
Providers we use
We use trusted providers for hosting, payments, email, analytics, monitoring, and AI model access. These may include Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend, PostHog, Sentry, OpenRouter, and downstream model providers.
Some providers may process data outside Spain or the European Economic Area. When that happens, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
Cookies and local storage
GeoCites uses essential cookies or similar storage for login, security, account state, and service operation. We may use analytics tools to understand product usage and reliability.
If we add non-essential marketing cookies, we will show the required controls before using them.
How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as needed for the service, security, billing, accounting, support, legal compliance, or dispute handling.
If you ask us to delete data, we will delete or anonymise it unless we need to keep it for legal, accounting, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the use of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise your rights, email contact@geo-cites.com . You also have the right to contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency at aepd.es .
Children
GeoCites is not designed for children. Do not use GeoCites if you are not old enough to enter into these terms or use an online business service in your country.
Changes
We may update this policy as GeoCites changes. If the changes are important, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.
